WHAT IS THAT? It flies like a hummingbird, but is anything but a hummingbird! The amazing hummingbird moth is often mistaken for a hummingbird, but is quite different. It will stay in the same area for a long while, has translucent wings, and the strangest looking tail ever! In this shot, one can see the shadow of the translucent wings outlined by light on the pink petunia blossom. You also won't see antennae like that on a hummingbird!
